Program Description

Event Details

Young astronomers will learn about the differences between the Earth, the Moon and the Sun. We will discuss how the Sun affects weather on Earth including the water cycle. We will look at the Earth's motion in space such as rotation and revolution, then take a trip to the Moon to see its phases and do experiments about gravity. There will be a demonstration of how craters are formed and children can create a paper rocket that they can "launch".
