Event Details

Travel back in time to the 1930s to the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem where the Lindy originated. Your ballroom instructor will teach you the basic steps, and then show you how to salsa which took NYC by storm in the 1960s and 1970s. Salsa blends elements from Latin American and Afro-Caribbean dance styles. No experience is required and single participants are welcome.  Harborfields Library cardholders may register beginning November 2 at 10 AM. Non-residents may register November 8 if space remains.
