If you have ever struggled while helping your child with their math homework, or have simply wondered how math education has changed over the years, then this series of workshops is for you. 

Just retired from the Harborfields School District, former primary and elementary school math specialist Byron Lane will walk participants through the differences between how math was taught in the 80's, 90's, and 00's and how it is being taught "these days" through Harborfields' new math series, Big Ideas.  Each session of this multi-part series of workshops will focus on a different domain (topic) of mathematics and will range from kindergarten to fifth grade skills.
