Program Description

Event Details

In this two-part intermediate drawing class, we will be working with colored pencils, creating a festive summer scene. An understanding of color and techniques is helpful but not required.

Materials needed: Colored pencils - minimum 24 colors (Prisma, Faber Castle, Artiza, Amazon are reasonably priced), with primary colors. Drawing pad: Any type of the following; ANY hot pressed watercolor paper, Mixed Media, Bristol VELLUM (NOT SMOOTH) and/or a 120, 140, 160, 180, 300, 400 or 500lb paper. (REGULAR 20lb. paper/ newsprint will NOT work!) H, HB pencils and a kneaded eraser or blending stump are optional.

Harborfields Library cardholders may register beginning Friday, August 1st at 10:00 AM.  If space remains, non-residents may register August 8th.
