The Great Give Back Event: Marine Conservation and Beach Clean Up

As a part of our library community Great Giveback Program, teens participated in a beach clean up event at Centerport Beach. This event was provided by Teen'Scape along with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program. Students completed a virtual class and assignment prior to meeting at the beach; the class explored the problems associated with debris in the marine environment and how to help prevent negative impacts to marine wildlife.
