Teens Connect
Join us for an informational session introducing teens to the Giving Garden, a community service initiative that grows fresh vegetables offsite at the Robert M. Kobecker Memorial Organic Garden to support those in need. Teens will learn how the program works and how to get involved.
Participants will also enjoy a hands-on hydroponic gardening workshop, building a mini mason-jar system to take home while learning how plants grow without soil.
Teens earn 1 hour of community service credit for attending. Volunteers with the Giving Garden earn additional service hours for their time. Open to students in grades 7 - 12
