The Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium will be hosting a workshop for teens who are interested in the art of nature journaling, which is the practice of drawing or writing about nature.  During the workshop, teens will learn about some of the incredible creatures that inhabit Long Island as well as conservation efforts they can employ, as they take the time to begin creating their own nature journal.  Teens will receive one hour of community service credit.  Teens who are interested in having their journals digitally displayed during the Museum's Wendy Klemperer animal sculpture exhibit, may hand in their completed journal by [insert date] for two additional hours of community service credit.  All participants will receive a free one-day pass to the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium, which includes viewing the Klemperer exhibit.
