Love Songs and Their Stories, A Piano Concert by Stan Wiest

Stan Wiest has performed for galas for Barbara Walters, Sally Jessy Raphael, Tony Randall, Sammy Davis Jr, Victor Borge, and  toured with Irving Caesar (George Gershwin’s lyricist)  performed for the wedding of the royal family of Sri  Lanka, the Du Pont wedding, and many other celebrity clients.  Join  us for an afternoon of beautiful love songs. During the concert Stan will include the history of these great love songs, including how and why the songs were written. In one case, a film director objected to including certain music in  the film, but reluctantly kept the songs in the films under duress, only to be surprised when the song received the award for THE BEST SONG OF THE YEAR.
