Learn how to help adults improve their English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
This streamlined training consists of 4 in-person sessions.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, a high school graduate and able to volunteer at least two (2) hours a week for one (1) year.
Tutors and students meet at a library and at a time that is convenient to both.
These training sessions will take place at the Patchogue-Medford Library, located at 54-60 Main Street in Patchogue.
Monday, November 3 from 10 AM - 1 PM
Thursday, November 6 from 10 AM - 1 PM
Monday, November 10 from 10 AM - 1 PM
Thursday, November 13 from 10 AM - 1 PM
You must attend all 4 sessions. You will receive all training details after receipt and review of your application.
