This 2-part introduction to colored pencil drawing class will focus on color theory, value, understanding the color wheel, blending, and other “color pencil” techniques.  You will be provided with a festive summer scene or object to use as inspiration.  

Materials needed: Colored pencils - minimum 24 colors (Prisma or Artiza are reasonably priced), Drawing pad- any type of the following; ANY hot pressed watercolor paper, Vellum and/or a 300,400 or 500 lb. Bristol paper. (REGULAR 20 lb. paper/ newsprint will NOT work!), H pencils, and a kneaded eraser or blending stump (optional). Harborfields Library cardholders may register beginning June 3 at 10:00 AM.  Non-residents may register Monday, June 9 if space remains.
