Calling all dog lovers! During the month of March we celebrate National Puppy Day. Show off your artistic skills by drawing a portrait of a dog you love—whether it’s your own pet or a favorite breed. We’ve got all the supplies you need to make your masterpiece. Need some inspiration? We’ll have reference photos available to help you get started. Please register and then pick up your supplies in the teen room beginning March 1st. Portraits are due back by Monday, March 17th. Once submitted we'll hang your artwork in the teen room in our frames for everyone to admire! Participants will earn 1 hour community service.
- Also, Stop by the Adopt, Don’t Shop Awareness Station in the Teen Room to learn about local animal shelters, how you can make a difference, and why adopting a dog is a life-changing decision. We’ll have brochures, inspiring stories, and ways you can get involved—whether it’s through volunteering or donating. Come by and find out how you can help give a pup a forever home!
