From NORTHERN STATE Parkway
N. S. PKW. From the West:
Take Northern State Parkway to Exit 42 NORTH (Deer Park Road/Park Avenue)
As you exit the ramp, merge into the far left lane to follow the left fork in the road ontoDeer Park Rd. (Sign says Greenlawn left -Northport right.)
Follow Deer Park Road as it crosses Jericho Turnpike (Route 25).
** After crossing Jericho Tpke., the name of the road changes to Park Avenue.
At the first traffic light after Jericho Tpke., turn right onto Broadway -Greenlawn.
Follow Broadway approximately 2 -1/2 miles until you cross over RR tracks.
Two blocks north of RR tracks you will see a large, red brick building on the left.
That is the Library. The main entrance is on Wyckoff Street.
N.S.PKW. FROM THE EAST:
Take Northern State Parkway to Exit 42 NORTH (Deer Park Road/ Park Avenue)
From this direction the exit ramp will take you behind the Dix Hills Fire Dept. to the intersection of DeForest Rd. and East Deer Park Rd. At the traffic light you will need turn left and make a quick right onto West Deer Park Rd. Follow Deer Park Road across Jericho Turnpike (Rt. 25)
** Follow the directions above from this point forward.
FROM Expressway (495)
Take the LIE to exit 51 NORTH (Deer Park Avenue-Rte. 23 I / Northport.)
Follow Deer Park Ave. going North. Pass under the Northern State Parkway overpass. Get in the left lane at this point to follow the left fork in the road onto West Deer Park Rd. (Sign says Greenlawn left -Northport right.) Follow Deer Park Road across Jericho Turnpike (Rt. 25)
** Follow the directions above from this point forward.
From Pulaski Road
1. Coming from the East, take Sunken Meadow Parkway to East Northport Road West-
Exit (SM4) Pulaski Road. Follow Pulaski Road West, crossing over Elwood Road and Larkfield Road, until you reach Broadway.
There is an Eckerd Drug Store and Getty Gas Station at this intersection.Turn right onto Broadway, Cross RR tracks, and two blocks North you will see a
large red brick building on left. This is the Library and the entrance is on Wyckoff Street.
2. Coming from the West, pick up Pulaski road from either New York Avenue (Rt. 110), Huntington (Jacobsen's Funeral Home on the corner) or at Park Avenue, Huntington (Bank and Carillon Nursing Home on the corner.)
Follow Pulaski EAST to Broadway. Turn left and follow instructions as above.
From 25 A
1. From the East : take 25A to the intersection of 25A and Little Neck Road, which is on the right.
Turn LEFT at this light onto Centerport Road. Centerport Road which changes to Broadway.
Follow Broadway North. Make the 1st Right after West Maple Rd. on to Wyckoff St.
The main entrance is on Wyckoff Street.
If you cross over the RR tracks, you’ve gone too far.
2. From the West: take 25A to the intersection of 25A and Centershore Road (Chalet Motel).
Turn right at this light and follow up the hill to the stop sign.
Bear right onto Centerport Road, which becomes Broadway. Follow instructions as above.
